Origin of Products

Our products are Greek and are exclusively produced in the Mountain Pelion of Thessaly.

The chestnut trees are grown in the region of East Pelion at an altitude which ranges between 500 and 1100 meters.

The growing of the chestnut tree is the main activity of producers in the region. In fact, due to the increase in chestnut exports to Italy over the past decades, the cultivation of the chestnut tree has gained even greater momentum. Therefore, new lands are continuously exploited where new tree are planted or grafting on wild rootstocks is done.

The height of chestnut trees is 25 meters and the tree production reaches 70 kilos, depending on the age.

The favorable conditions in the region, the humidity, the soil components, the altitude, in combination with the special care and the many years of experience in the cultivation of the chestnut tree by the producers, enable us to put products of exceptional quality on the European market.
