Our machines classify chestnuts into categories depending on the shape of the fruit. Consequently, there are 4 basic categories

The chestnut is the fruit of the deciduous and age-old chestnut tree, which belongs to the order of the Figs, and is found in a closed, woody and thorny shell, which opens when the fruit ripens.
Chestnut has a high nutritional value as it is rich in vitamins and fiber and although it belongs to the category of nuts it has less fat and has vitamin C.
Important is its content of B vitamins, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, sodium.
